But often we aren't able to access these tools because of feelings that we just aren't good enough, that we just don't have 'what it takes' to fulfill our desires. We have allowed others to "talk us down" and diminish or destroy our confidence, or we've just never had the opportunity to permit ourselves to get past apparent blocks.

Those negative thoughts and feelings can be overcome! Confidence can be restored, built upon, and strengthend by exchanging those undesired thoughts with positive ones. Self-assurance can be had by changing our thought patterns. Often, all it takes is identifying a relatively small change we want to make in our lives, working out a method for implementing that change, doing it, and watching the positive results. With each small success our confidence builds, giving more strength to make the next change, building and building, until we begin to understand that we are able to tackle even the biggest challenges we face.
